Biography

Professor Thomas is a leading French Psychiatrist who is Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine in the University of Lille, France and also Head of the Department Psychiatry, Forensic Medicine at CHU of Lille France.

His research include mental health in vulnerable populations in the the Scientific Council of Psychiatry Research Federation of Hauts de France and psychiatric neurosciences in the Plasticity & SubjectivitY (PSY) team, Lille Neuroscience & Cognition Centre (LiNC), INSERM U-1172.
He is the President of the national steering comity for psychiatry in France, Past President of the National Academic Collège of Psychiatry, President of the French Board on "suicide prevention," Mission « Health in Prison » France and General Secretary of National Congress of French speaking Psychiatry and Neurology.
