Biography

Larry Cimino is currently the President of ProConsult, LLC, a strategic global management and logistics consultancy, where he assists both for-profit and not-for-profit multinational organizations and maintains a special focus on mental health, the comorbidity of medical and mental disorders, and international business development.

He is also the (volunteer) President of the Council on World Affairs which strives to foster public understanding of world conditions and US foreign policy.

Larry is a lifetime member of the World Federation for Mental Health and served on the WFMH board of directors and executive committee for eight years.

He retired form Eli Lilly and Company in 2007 after a career of 32 years serving in management roles in Human Resources, International Marketing, International Government Affairs, and as President of the Lilly Foundation.

Larry is currently the Global Program Director for the Dialogue on Diabetes and Depression, an international collaborative effort addressing problems related to the co-morbidity of diabetes and depression under the auspices of the Association for the Improvement of Mental health Programs in Geneva, Switzerland.

He serves as Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Indiana University International Center for Intercultural Communications, a university-based research and service organization that strives for excellence in language and intercultural training in academic, professional, and other occupational contexts.

Larry has also served on the American Red Cross Corporate Advisory Board and the boards of directors of the American Council on Germany, the Conference Board Section on Corporate Social Responsibility, the American Cabaret Theatre, and the Humanities Council, as well as the WHO Division of Mental Health International Consultative Committee in Geneva, Switzerland.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Larry graduated from the University of Toronto in Canada with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
